Congratulations on your recent 2nd place finish in the Everest Trail Race. How was the event? Were you happy with your race?
I recently attended the MdS Expo for which I saw your name was down to present. The organisers informed us that sadly you were unable to attend so it was a shame to miss you. This event prompted me to get a message out to you as I know you have been to use our facilities at the University in the past to support your training/event preparation. I thought I would introduce myself (Andy West) as a new point of contact at the University. If there is anything we can support you with for your training, or you would simply like to ask a few questions then please do not hesitate to contact me (details below).

Thank you Andy. Yes I was sorry to miss the Expo too but a chest infection after Nepal put pay to that. It’s such a nice message and I really appreciate you taking the time to write it. I will email you directly so we have 2 way communication incase you need a favour off me too (Guinea pig!). Many thanks, Jo
That’s great (we’re always looking for well trained Guinea pigs!) – look forward to hearing from you soon!
